"We Choose Love"

We had the privilege of playing music in Sandy Hook, CT this past month.  There is a sense I felt within this community of connection.  The sense of connection was not talked about or posted for those visiting, other than the simple bumper stickers that read, "We are Sandy Hook.  We choose Love."  Even though emotions still sit right below the surface, the sense of "We choose Love" can be felt.  The question is, can we too have the courage to choose love?  The pictures below were taken in the Newtown United Methodist Church where we sang twice last month.  These are thousands of origami birds sent from Japan and represent prosperity.  They hang and lay everywhere inside the church.  "WE CHOOSE LOVE"
